The TweetUp earlier this week at Wipe Out Marin was a huge success! (Blog post coming soon) Thanks to everyone who came out and thank you to Wipe Out Marin for being such gracious hosts.
Tis the Season for TweetUps!
Yes it is that busy time of year again and it looks like the Marin Twitter community is all a flutter with Tweet events happening in December, in particular the first week of December.
In keeping with my intention of supporting local independently owned businesses I'm organizing a TweetUp Holiday Open House gathering at Gioia Boutique in San Anselmo on Friday, 12/2/11 from 6-8pm.
This also goes with my Miss Representation pledge - supporting women owned businesses! Gioia is owned by my friend Joy Sassoon. It just so happens that 12/2/11 is also Open House night in downtown San Anselmo so I thought it'd be fun if we all gathered at Gioia to toast the holiday season and maybe get started on our holiday shopping. Men are invited too!
Stop by Gioia between 6-8pm on Friday, 12/2/11 to meet Joy and check out her goods. Maybe a group of us could grab a bit to eat at a local restaurant after. How about Taco Janes?!

If you are still craving some tweep love after the Friday night festivities - Tamara Holland will be in San Anselmo on Saturday, 12/3 selling her wares at the Holiday Pop Up Shop! 3 artists. Snacks & drinks. Gift-wrapping. 3pm-6 pm. #2 Florence Ave. San Anselmo. Lisa Sonora Beam studio. 3-6 pm. Eats & drinks goodies while shopping, too! Contact @TamHolland for more info.

My better/funnier half has informed me that we have been over-scheduling ourselves and I agree with her 100% so I personally cannot commit to all 3 events. I will for sure be at the Gioia Holiday gathering on Friday, 12/2 and am hoping to stop by the Holiday Pop Up Shop because I love Tamara and her art.
